This is a helpful article on the wretched level of ignorance which exists among many of the talking heads who continue to insult the intelligence of the public and defame history and reason with their pathetic assertions that jihadists are no real threat to the West and Islam is no different than the Christian Faith.

It often seems as though people in the media are intentionally trying to manipulate public opinion by manipulating the truth or lying outright. Their vigilant defense of Islam is an example. The constant portrayal as anyone who wants illegal immigration stopped as bigots and racists is another example. I don't get what the media has to gain by playing this game.
